Montray Clemons out for season

DePaul freshman forward Montray Clemons will miss the 2011-2012 season due to a ruptured patellar tendon in his left knee, the school announced on Monday.

Clemons, who is 6-foot-7 and 225 pounds, suffered the injury when he slipped during warm-ups of DePaul's Midnight Madness on Friday night. He is scheduled to have surgery on Tuesday and is expected to have six to eight months of rehab.
