Rip Hamilton doesn't play vs. Pacers

INDIANAPOLIS -- Newly signed guard Rip Hamilton did not play in the Chicago Bulls' 95-86 preseason win against the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

Hamilton, who on Wednesday signed a two-year, $10 million contract with a team option for a third season, practiced with the Bulls for the first time on Thursday.

Both Hamilton and Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau were noncommittal on the shooting guard's status for Tuesday's game, the team's only other preseason contest, against the Pacers.
