Adam Dunn ties HR mark

Chicago White Sox slugger Adam Dunn hit his second straight Opening Day home run on Friday to tie Frank Robinson and Ken Griffey Jr. for the most Opening Day home runs in Major League Baseball history with eight.

Babe Ruth, Willie Mays and Eddie Mathews each have seven.

It was a welcomed start for Dunn, who became just the second player in MLB history to have more strikeouts (177) than batting average points (.159) with at least 35 plate appearances last season.
