Derrick Rose out vs. Heat

MIAMI -- Chicago Bulls' guard Derrick Rose didn't play, but Luol Deng started in Thursday night's 83-72 loss to the Miami Heat.

Rose, who has been out the past three games with a sore right foot, missed his 26th game of the season.

"He's feeling a lot better today, but he's still not quite there so we're just going to be patient and when he's ready to go, he'll go," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game.
