Paul Konerko scratched from lineup

CHICAGO -- White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko was scratched from the lineup on Sunday with a stiff neck.

"He's had (a stiff neck) the past couple days, but played through it," manager Robin Ventura said. "Today it's just more of being cautious so nothing happens."

Ventura added that he didn't believe Konerko's injury happened on the field. He said the team was just being cautious and sitting Konerko out on Sunday gives him two days to rest with Monday as a scheduled ...
