Wrist keeps Paul Konerko out

CHICAGO -- Chicago White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko will miss his second consecutive game Wednesday because of soreness in his left wrist after undergoing a procedure to dislodge a fragment in it.

Konerko, who also sat out Sunday's contest as his regular day of rest, first noticed the fragment's presence during the 2008 season and has often been able to maneuver it himself. Twice, last June and on Monday, he's been unable to dislodge the fragment from an area and has had to ...
