Source: Cubs, Albert Almora close

The agent for Chicago Cubs top draft pick Albert Almora said a deal for the outfielder is not done, but a source told ESPNChicago.com's Bruce Levine that an agreement is very close.

Baseball America reported that the Cubs signed Almora, the sixth pick in the draft, for $3.9 million. The source confirmed that amount to Levine.

The sides are finalizing details of the contract and Almora still has to take a physical, another source told Levine.
