White Sox scout Zack Greinke

CHICAGO -- Jake Peavy, whom the Chicago White Sox acquired in a blockbuster deal before the 2009 trade deadline, said he's well aware of Ken Williams' reputation for bold moves, and wouldn't be opposed to Williams pulling off another one by acquiring the Milwaukee Brewers' Zack Greinke.

The Sox had one of their top talent evaluators, scout Bill Scherrer, watching Greinke defeat the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday night.
