Ryan Klachko transferring to Illinois

Former Nebraska offensive lineman Ryan Klachko has transferred to Illinois, Illini coach Tim Beckman announced on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound Klachko will sit out this season and have three years of eligibility remaining. He redshirted as a freshman at Nebraska last year.

Klachko played at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School in Springfield, Ill. He was ranked the No. 28 offensive guard in the ESPN 150 recruiting class of 2011.
