Alejandro De Aza rejoins Sox

Chicago White Sox outfielder Alejandro De Aza came off the disabled list before Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers.

De Aza, who had been on a rehabilitation assignment at Triple-A Charlotte, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Aug. 21 (retroactive to Aug. 18) with bruised left ribs. He appeared in four games with Charlotte, going 5 for 16 (.313) with one home run and two RBIs.

De Aza is hitting .281 with five triples, six homers and 44 RBIs over 111 games this season.
