Gavin Floyd: Elbow feels good

CHICAGO -- Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Gavin Floyd said he felt good Monday after throwing off the mound for the first time since being put on the 15-day disabled list for a right elbow flexor strain.

Floyd was placed on the disabled list on Aug. 28 (retroactive to Aug. 27). He was also on the 15-day disabled list in July because of tendinitis in the same elbow. He is 9-9 with a 4.55 ERA in 24 starts this season.
