Gavin Floyd to start Wednesday

CHICAGO -- Chicago White Sox pitcher Gavin Floyd will start against the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday after a stint on the disabled list due to a right elbow flexor strain, pitching coach Don Cooper said on Monday.

To make room for Floyd in the rotation, Francisco Liriano will move to the bullpen for at least the first three games of the series against the Tigers, which begins Monday.
