JerShon Cobb banned for year

Northwestern junior guard JerShon Cobb has been suspended for the upcoming season because of violations of team policy, the school announced on Friday.

Cobb, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, will sit out this season and have two years of eligibility remaining.
