Patrick Sharp, Andrew Shaw injured

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks extended their NHL-record points streak to 24 games on Wednesday, but it didn't come without losing Patrick Sharp and Andrew Shaw to injuries.

Sharp had to be helped to the dressing room with 12:08 remaining in the third period of the Hawks' 3-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche after being checked into the boards. He appeared to have suffered a shoulder injury and was bent over as he made his way off the ice.
