Aaron Rodgers closer to extension

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are getting closer to a long-term contract extension that would make the star quarterback the highest-paid player in NFL history, according to league sources.

Both Rodgers and the Packers are hesitant to comment on a potential extension, but league-wide speculation is that the deal could average $25 million per year.
