Josh McCown returning to Bears

The Chicago Bears announced Friday they have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with veteran quarterback Josh McCown, who will serve as a backup to Jay Cutler.

Brought back to the team in November after being released at the end of the preseason, McCown didn't play a down last season. But in 2011, McCown started two games and completed 35-of-55 passes for 414 yards, 2 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
