Bears send OL Gabe Carimi to Bucs

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bears have traded 2011 first-round draft choice Gabe Carimi, an offensive lineman, to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bears will receive a sixth-round pick in the 2014 draft, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Carimi had not participated in the Bears' offseason program since the conclusion of the club's voluntary minicamp in April, but did plan to attend next week's mandatory minicamp and avoid a potential $66,150 fine if he skipped all ...
