Andrew Shaw takes puck to face

BOSTON -- Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw was hit in the face by a puck and left the game but returned for the start of the second period of Monday's Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals.

Boston Bruins forward Shawn Thornton intercepted a pass from Shaw near the Blackhawks' blue line, and Thornton quickly shot the puck. The puck connected with Shaw's face, and he immediately fell to the ground and his body skidded to a stop on the ice with 4:01 left in the period. He laid still ...
