No surgery for Marian Hossa

CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa, who was injured during the Stanley Cup finals, will not require back surgery, general manager Stan Bowman said Friday.

"He didn't need surgery," Bowman said. "He's doing much better than he was. He was another player that played through an awful lot of pain in the final.
