Nate Collins to miss rest of season

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears lost yet another starting defensive tackle when Nate Collins tore the ACL in his left knee during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Results from an MRI on Monday confirmed Collins' injury, and Bears coach Marc Trestman said the defensive tackle is out for the season.

Collins will undergo surgery in the next two weeks in Chicago and faces an eight-month rehabilitation process.
