Cubs talk to Manny Acta

The Chicago Cubs met with Manny Acta on Monday about their manager vacancy, Acta confirmed to ESPNChicago.com.

"They were fruitful conversations. [It] is an attractive opportunity, a wonderful city and a team that has a lot of talent in the minor leagues and is operated by people who already won in other places," Acta told Enrique Rojas of ESPNdeportes.com.
