Jay Cutler set for MRI on groin

LANDOVER, Md. -- Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler left Sunday's 45-41 loss to the Washington Redskins with a groin injury and will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of damage to the area.

Cutler suffered the injury with 10:09 remaining in the second quarter while being slammed to the ground on a sack by Chris Baker.

Bears coach Marc Trestman said he didn't "have any sense at all" about the severity of Cutler's injury.
