10. Curtis Granderson

After starring at Thornton Fractional South, Granderson went to play at the University of Illinois-Chicago before the Detroit Tigers selected him in the third round of the 2002 baseball draft. He won the center-field job in 2006 and became the Tigers' catalyst at the top of the order. He turned in four straight 20-homer seasons and hit an astounding 23 triples in 2007.
