Lilly makes first rehab start

IOWA CITY -- Chicago Cubs starter Ted Lilly made his first rehab start at Triple-A Iowa Wednesday, throwing four innings and allowing one hit -- a first-inning homer to Memphis' Tyler Greene.

Lilly walked one and struck out four, while throwing 31 of his 51 pitches for strikes. He was 0-for-2 at the plate.

Lilly, working his way back from left shoulder surgery, is scheduled to make one more rehab start Tuesday for Double-A Tennessee, and thenhe hopes return to the Cubs before the end of April.
