CHICAGO -- Sunday's series finale between the Cubs and Giants has been postponed by rain.
Cubs officials announced the postponement three hours before the game was scheduled to start. It was raining lightly in Chicago, and forecasts called for little improvement.
The game will be made up at 1:20 p.m. on June 28 as part of a day-night doubleheader.
The Cubs decided to make the announcement even before gates opened.
Heavy rains forced an early end to Saturday's game. The Giants won 3-0 in a game called in the top of the seventh.
