Carlos Boozer is day to day

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said forward Carlos Boozer is day to day with a sprained ankle, and it's not known whether he'll play Tuesday against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Boozer, who injured the ankle in the final seconds of the Bulls' 96-93 win over the Miami Heat on Saturday, missed Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

"[He was] better [Sunday]," Thibodeau said. "Stayed behind to get treatment back in Chicago and hopefully we'll get a look at it [Tuesday].

"[Athletic trainer] Fred [Tedeschi] doesn't know [if he'll play Tuesday]. He said it was significantly better [Sunday], but you never can really tell with those things."

Boozer is averaging 20.1 points and 10.1 rebounds, and he missed 15 games earlier this season because of a broken finger.
