CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich left Tuesday night's game with a strained right groin.

"I spoke to (athletic trainer) Fred (Tedeschi) at halftime and he said Kirk tweaked something," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "It happened in the game."

In 15 minutes of action in the first half of the Bulls' 94-89 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Hinrich scored eight points, grabbed three rebounds and had two assists.

Hinrich has been one of the Bulls' most consistent players in the preseason, averaging 10 points and almost seven assists per game.

Hinrich sat out last Tuesday night's game against the Milwaukee Bucks with a thumb injury.
