Northwestern quarterback Dan Persa was listed as questionable on the Wildcats' injury report on Thursday.

Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald said throughout the week if Persa was healthy he would be the team's starter Saturday versus Boston College. If Persa is unable to go, sophomore Kain Colter will replace him.

Persa ruptured his right Achilles tendon against Iowa last season and missed the Wildcats' final three games.

Persa completed 222 of 302 passes for 2,581 yards, 15 touchdowns and four interceptions last season. He also rushed for 519 yards and nine touchdowns.

Defensive tackle Brian Arnfelt (foot), defensive back Mike Bolden, safety Jared Carpenter (wrist), linebacker Colin Ellis (hand), linebacker Roderick Goodlow (leg) and wide receiver Tony Jones (wrist) were ruled out for Saturday's game.
