Hawks' assistant GM Dudley resigns

Rick Dudley has resigned as assistant general manager of the Chicago Blackhawks, the team has announced.

"Rick has informed me that he has resigned from his position with the Blackhawks to pursue other opportunities," GM Dale Tallon said in a statement. "I would like to extend my gratitude to him for his work with our organization and certainly wish him well in the future."

Dudley has been with the Hawks for four seasons, including the past three as the assistant GM.
