E'Twaun Moore earns first award

Illinois senior point guard Demetri McCamey earned Big Ten co-player of the week honors with Purdue senior guard E'Twaun Moore on Monday.

McCamey averaged 20.5 points and 8.5 assists and shot 61 percent from the field and 75 percent from 3-point range in Illinois' wins over Iowa and Wisconsin during the week. Against the Badgers on Sunday, he scored 14 of the Illini's final 16 points to pull out the victory. McCamey was last given the honor last season.

Moore averaged 26.0 points and 8.0 boards in wins over Michigan and Northwestern. He tied his career high with 31 points against the Wildcats.
