Bears re-sign Peterman, add Angulo

The Chicago Bears have signed tight end Richard Angulo and wide receiver Eric Peterman to one-year contracts, the team announced on Monday.

The 6-foot-8, 272-pound Angulo appeared in 27 games in his career with the St. Louis Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars. He served on the Bears practice squad during the 2006 season.

Peterman, an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern and a Sherman, Ill., native, spent the 2009 preseason with the Bears and the final week of the season on the practice squad. He was a team co-captain for the Wildcats in 2008 and received Big Ten all-conference honorable mention honors.
