Aaron Rodgers thanks Justin Tucker
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Before Aaron Rodgers said anything else Tuesday on his weekly radio show, he offered a word of thanks.
It was directed to Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, whose 61-yard, game-winning field goal against the Detroit Lions on Monday put Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in position to make the playoffs if they win their remaining two regular-season games.
I'd like to thank Justin Tucker off the top here for his performance last night. Unbelievable. That 61-yarder was amazing.” -- Aaron Rodgers
"I'd like to thank Justin Tucker off the top here for his performance last night," Rodgers said to open his ESPN Milwaukee radio show. "Unbelievable. That 61-yarder was amazing. I didn't quite get the three previous plays, but wow."
"It's amazing that we're sitting here 7-6-1 with a chance to win two and be in [the playoffs]," Rodgers said.
Rodgers shed little light on whether he would return this week from his collarbone injury. He confirmed that he plans to practice Wednesday and hopes not to experience any setbacks this week.

Ravens PK Justin Tucker talks about his strategy for his 61-yard field goal, his coaches' faith in him on fourth down, the Twitter reaction to his performance against the Lions, celebrating successful kicks and more.
Last week, Rodgers appeared to make progress by taking snaps with the starters for the first time since his Nov. 4 injury but still was not cleared for game action.
What happened in Week 15, with the Packers pulling off their come-from-behind victory over the Dallas Cowboys and the Lions' loss, will not be a factor in whether Rodgers returns, he said.
"I don't think it really influences my thought process any more than playing last week and wanting to be out there last week did," Rodgers said. "I felt good in practice, and a decision was made about my status that was made collectively but more on an organizational level, which I understood.
"Doesn't mean I was happy about it, but understood."
