Chris Harris '50-50' to face Packers
"I am doing better," Harris said Tuesday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "It is day (to) day.
"Hamstrings can be kind of tricky. We kind of are taking this day to day. I'm doing everything in my powers to be on the field Sunday."
"We missed Chris a lot," Meriweather said Monday. "He's one of the smartest guys on the defense. He can line people up, he's like a crutch. He's somebody who we can depend on when things are going bad to get everybody focused ... just his leadership on the field is tremendous. He's a great guy. He's one of the better players I have played with. "
Harris said he won't play if he believes he'll be less than effective.
"It's probably 50-50 (that he'll play)," Harris said. "It's kind of up in the air. It's a day-to-day thing. We are going to see how it feels tomorrow, and kind of go from there.
"I'm really hoping I'm feeling good and go out there and help our team win. I don't want to go out there if I'm not ready, because I don't want to be (a) liability either. It will be a smart decision on my part and the training staff."
