LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- All charges officially have been dropped against former Chicago Bears running back Garrett Wolfe over a May 22 dispute at a Miami Beach, Fla., nightclub.

A final misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence was dismissed Monday, according to the Miami-Dade State's Attorney office.

Wolfe was arrested in Miami Beach for allegedly refusing to pay a bar tab of almost $1,600 at Cameo nightclub. Miami Beach police originally charged Wolfe with disorderly conduct, retail theft, assault of a police officer and resisting an officer with violence during the incident.

However, Florida authorities eventually opted not to file felony charges against Wolfe, instead charging him with only the recently dismissed misdemeanor.

Selected by the Bears in the third round of the 2007 NFL draft, Wolfe did not receive a restricted free-agent tender from the club before the lockout began March 12. He is a free agent.
