LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears starting nickel back D.J. Moore continued to be sidelined with a sprained ankle and is not expected to be available on Sunday when the Bears travel to Oakland, according to coach Lovie Smith.
"D.J. Moore is getting better, but still not looking good for this week," Smith said on Thursday.
Moore's replacement at nickel, Corey Graham, has intercepted a pair of passes in just 19 snaps the past two weeks.
Meanwhile, Devin Hester popped up on the injury report due to a shin injury that isn't believed to be serious.
"Really just some soreness right now [with Hester], so we kept him out," Smith said. "He should be ready to go on Sunday."
Hester has fought through a variety of ailments the past few weeks, but has still handled the majority of the Bears return game. However, Hester hasn't had a significant role on offense at wide receiver in the last two games.
