Bears' Devin Hester questionable

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears held out receiver Devin Hester and defensive tackle Henry Melton for Friday's workout, and there's concern about their availability for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Both are officially listed as questionable on the injury report.

"We thought [Melton] would be doing a lot better, but he didn't practice today and it's never good when you don't practice on a Friday," Bears coach Lovie Smith said. "And Devin Hester tweaked his ankle a little bit yesterday. We're in decent shape, [but] hopefully we'll get more of the guys back for the game."

The club also listed quarterback Jay Cutler (thumb), and running back Matt Forte (knee) as out for the matchup with the Seahawks.

Cornerback Charles Tillman (knee), guard Edwin Williams (calf) and safety Major Wright (shoulder) are probable.

Smith said that Wright "makes progress each day." So it appears Wright will likely return to the starting lineup after missing the team's loss last week at Denver.

For the Seahawks, offensive tackle Jarriel King (hamstring) is questionable.

Several Seahawks were included listed on the injury report as probable for Sunday's game, including cornerbacks Kennard Cox (hamstring) and Richard Sherman (knee), linebackers David Hawthorne (knee) and Leroy Hill (neck), receiver Doug Baldwin (ankle), defensive end Raheem Brock (calf), guard Robert Gallery (hip), and quarterback Tavaris Jackson (pectoral).
