Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who has been a frequent guest on ESPN 1000's "Waddle & Silvy Show" is taking his role up a notch for the weekly "Jay Cutler Show," it was announced Friday by the station's general manager and vice president John Cravens.

The multiyear agreement ensures Cutler will be heard live between noon-1 p.m. CT every Monday, pending the team's schedule.

"I'm very excited to be joining ESPN Chicago and Waddle and Silvy's top-rated radio program," Cutler said. "This is a great fit for me, and will be a fun way to interact with Bears fans. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming season, both on the field and in the studio."

The long-standing relationship between Cutler and co-hosts Tom Waddle, a former Bears player, and Marc Silverman, led to their show becoming the only place to hear Cutler for a full hour on a weekly basis.

"ESPN Chicago could not be more excited to welcome Jay Cutler to our already solid on-air lineup," Cravens said. "Waddle & Silvy's extended access to Jay will give Bears fans his insights into the game and a glimpse of his personality they have never heard before both on air and online."

ESPNChicago.com will have stories, reactions and readers can converse with each other about "The Jay Cutler Show" on ESPNChicago.com, where there will also be videos, podcasts and more.
