Jordan Hendry undergoes surgery

Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Jordan Hendry underwent surgery on his left ACL on Tuesday, and he's expected to miss six months.

"Reconstructive surgery to repair Jordan's left knee ACL tear went well today," team physician Michael Terry said. "We anticipate a full recovery in approximately six months."

Hendry, who was injured on Feb. 27 when he was checked into the boards by the Phoenix Coyotes' Shane Doan, has four goals, nine assists and 40 penalty minutes in 129 regular season games with the Blackhawks.
