The Chicago Blackhawks activated forward Bryan Bickell from injured reserved and reassigned forward Jeremy Morin to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL on Monday.

Bickell has missed 14 games due to a lower-body injury. Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said Sunday that Bickell was expected to travel with the team for Tuesday's game against the Nashville Predators, but he likely wouldn't return to the lineup until they play the Vancouver Canucks on Friday. Bickell has five goals and one assist in 22 games this season.

Morin was recalled from the Blackhawks on Dec. 4 and played in six games during his latest stint with them. He was a healthy scratch against the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday. He has one goal and four assists in 15 games with the Blackhawks this season.
