CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw is questionable to play against the Minnesota Wild in Game 2 of their Western Conference second-round series Sunday due to a lower-body injury, coach Joel Quenneville said Saturday.
"[He's] questionable for tomorrow," Quenneville said.
Quenneville also said the injury was considered to be a short-term one.
Shaw was injured after taking a hit from Wild defenseman Clayton Stoner at 10:34 of the first period during Game 1 on Friday. Stoner slammed his shoulder into Shaw's shoulder, and Shaw was thrown into the boards. He fell to the ice and appeared to yell in pain. He limped off the ice and went to the dressing room.
He did not return for the remainder of the game.
Shaw has two goals, two assists, a zero rating and has averaged 15:54 of ice time in seven playoff games this season. He had 20 goals, 19 assists and a plus-12 rating in 80 regular-season games.
