SUNRISE, Fla. -- Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith, who sat out practice Wednesday with an upper-body injury, will not play Thursday against the Florida Panthers.

"We're still calling him 'day-to-day,' but he's out for Thursday's game," coach Joel Quenneville said.

Keith left the Blackhawks' 4-3 overtime win over the Nashville Predators on Monday midway through the second period.

Keith has played in every game over the past two seasons, while missing a total of five in five years.
