"We'll see," coach Joel Quenneville said after practice was over. "He's going to give it a go there in warm-ups. Game time [decision]."
Seabrook has been out since injuring his left leg in a fall on Nov. 13.
"I'm feeling better," Frolik said. "One more time in warm-ups and we'll know."
Forward Dave Bolland didn't practice Wednesday morning but played in the game as he continues to nurse an injury after blocking a shot with his right leg which caused him to miss time. The Hawks are coming off back-to-back losses in Canada where they were outscored by a combined 14-4. In between those games and Wednesday the team took two days off in Las Vegas.
"It's not just about the two days off," Jonathan Toews said of responding to the mini-vacation. "There was no forgetting [in Las Vegas] the way we played the last two games and we won't forget it tonight."
Corey Crawford started in goal for Chicago. Former Stanley Cup winning goaltender Antti Niemi started for San Jose. The Sharks employ two other former Hawks, Martin Havlat and Jim Vandermeer, and both were in the lineup.
