Corey Crawford cleared to play
Crawford left Thursday's 3-0 win against the St. Louis Blues after the first period with an upper-body injury and did not return. He appeared to stumble as he skated off the ice at the end of the first period.
"Corey's fine," Quenneville said prior to Friday's game. "He skated this morning. Ray's starting, but (Crawford's) playing. Corey's backing up.
"(Crawford) got through it (on Thursday). He didn't seem too bad after the game. He was fine this morning."
Quenneville said Thursday that Crawford's latest injury was not related to the upper-body injury that forced him to miss four games in February.
Crawford is 9-0-3 with a league-best 1.46 goals-against average and a .943 save percentage (second in the NHL).
Emery is 8-0-0 with a 1.92 GAA (seventh in the league) and a .931 save percentage (fifth). On Friday he was named the NHL's "Third Star" for the month of February.
"(Bolland) skated very well today," Quenneville said. "Did a real nice job. I like the progress. He's real close."
Bolland has five goals and two assists in 16 games this season. Marcus Kruger replaced Bolland on the second line in the last three games.
