Hours after celebrating his own title with a parade in Miami, Heat star LeBron James tweeted out congratulations to another champion as he saluted Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane for winning the Stanley Cup.

"Congrats to 88pkane and the Chicago Blackhawks on winning the Stanley Cup #WhatAFeeling #NothingLikeIt," James tweeted Monday night. He also tweeted an Instagram picture of a Blackhawks jersey with the No. 6 and his name on the back.

The Hawks clinched their second Cup in four seasons by beating the Boston Bruins 3-2 in Game 6 of the finals Monday in Boston, and Kane won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the postseason.

Chicago's First Fan also tweeted out his regards.

"Congrats, @NHLBlackhawks. Thanks for bringing the Stanley Cup back to Chicago," tweeted President Obama, a former Illinois senator from the South Side of Chicago.

James and Kane established a mutual admiration this season, exchanging tweets and posing for a picture while each led his team to a memorable season. James won the regular-season and finals MVP after leading the Heat to their second consecutive title.

James congratulated the Hawks during their NHL-record 24-game streak to start the season without a regulation loss, and Kane countered with praise for James and Heat going on a 27-game win streak.

Kane and Hawks winger Patrick Sharp were courtside at the United Center on March 27 and posed for pregame pictures with James before the Bulls snapped the Heat's streak.

"I've been a big LeBron fan ever since he came into the league, and got a great respect for what he's done throughout his career," Kane told reporters at the time.
