Road To Bourbonnais: Post-Urlacher

D.J. Williams (58) is the heir apparent to Brian Urlacher, at least for this season. His one-year, $1.75 million deal (no guaranteed money) suggests the Bears don't view the former Bronco as the long-term answer in the middle. Williams, 30, brings baggage to the Bears as he was suspended twice last season, once for violating the league's banned-substances policy after the league said he supplied a "non-human" urine sample during a drug test. The other incident involved driving while impaired.
