Bulls fans can't forget -- no matter how hard they may try -- the moment Derrick Rose fell on the court and grabbed his knee. That play on April 28, 2012, was followed by surgery on May 12 and caused him to miss the entire 2012-13 season. The Bears' dominoes began to tumble in January when Phil Emery replaced Jerry Angelo as GM. They continued after a 10-6 season resulted in the Bears' fifth nonplayoff year and Lovie Smith's dismissal. The other big news for the Bears was trading for Brandon Marshall. Other big news included Ron Santo entering the Hall of Fame, Kerry Wood retiring and the start of the NHL season being delayed by a lockout.
