Wolves use hat trick to beat Rivermen

Mike Duco's first career hat trick led the Chicago Wolves to a 5-2 victory over the Peoria Rivermen on Friday night at Carver Arena.

Duco completed his hat trick with an empty-net tally at 18:49 of the third period.

Bryon Bitz, who got his first goal since March 2010, and Nathan Longpre also scored for Chicago (17-12-1-3) and Mark Mancari dished out two assists.

Wolves goalie Eddie Lack stopped 30 shots and Ben Bishop posted 27 saves for Peoria (17-16-2-1).
