The Chicago Wolves moved into a first-place tie in the AHL's Midwest Division with a 1-0 shutout win over Lake Erie Saturday night at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
The Wolves, who are starting a three-game road trip, allowed a season-low 19 shots as goaltender Matt Climie posted his first shutout of the season.
Steven Reinprecht scored the lone goal of the game shorthanded midway through the second period as the Wolves stopped a two-game losing streak.
Their 73 points tie them atop the division with Peoria. The Wolves hold a game in hand over the Rivermen.
