The San Antonio Rampage scored the final three goals to beat the Chicago Wolves 5-4 on Thursday in Game 1 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series.

Forwards Nicklas Jensen (two goals), Bill Sweatt, and Tim Miller scored for Chicago, which trails San Antonio 1-0 in the best-of-five series.

"We had many chances to win the game, but we couldn't do it," Wolves coach Craig MacTavish said. "At the end of the day it is a stinger of a loss."

San Antonio won in overtime on the power play. After a scramble around the net the puck came in the near circle to defenseman Coby Robak, who fired a shot through traffic and past the glove of Wolves goaltender Eddie Lack.

The series resumes at 7 p.m. Saturday in San Antonio.
