Chicago Sky rookie Elena Delle Donne is expected to miss at least another week after suffering a left foot injury in Tuesday's game in Los Angeles.
Delle Donne left the game against the Sparks in the second quarter and did not return. Initial X-rays of the foot were negative.
According to the Sky's website, an MRI on Wednesday revealed that Delle Donne suffered a mid-foot sprain that "could keep her off the court for a couple of weeks."
Delle Donne was wearing a walking boot and street clothes Thursday as the Sky rallied to beat the Storm in Seattle.
She was expected to undergo more tests when the team returned to Chicago from its two-game road trip.
Delle Donne, the WNBA's rookie of the month in June and July, leads the Sky in scoring at 18.2 points per game. She is also averaging 5.3 rebounds and shooting 42.5 percent from the field.
